Lydia Fanning is a licensed social worker working in Colorado. She works with adolescents, adults, and families, drawing on experience across diverse settings including schools, residential treatment, nature-based therapy, and outpatient care. Lydia earned her B.A. in Sociology and Psychology from Colby College and her Master of Social Work from the University of Vermont.

Lydia specializes in the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related disorders. She is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard, evidence-based treatment for OCD and phobias. Her clinical work also incorporates complementary, research-supported approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, Inference Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT) and prolonged exposure therapy. In addition to OCD and anxiety treatment, Lydia has experience supporting individuals and family members impacted by substance use disorders.
Lydia’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and person-centered. She believes clients are the experts on their own lives and views her role as creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore patterns, build insight, and challenge limiting beliefs in service of meaningful change.
