Kate Nasoff is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in Obsessive–Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders. In addition to her expertise in OCD and anxiety, she supports individuals navigating life transitions, strengthening relationships, building self-esteem, and managing symptoms of depression. Kate has practiced in a variety of clinical settings, including schools, outpatient community mental health centers, and private practice, and has extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tulane University and her Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University.

Kate is trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold standard treatment for OCD. Her work is grounded in a relational approach, emphasizing that meaningful change occurs through a trusting and authentic connection. She integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic-based therapeutic techniques into her practice.

Her therapeutic style is authentic, collaborative, and deeply supportive, creating a space where clients feel safe exploring their experiences and fears with honesty and openness. Kate considers each client’s culture, gender, sexuality, family system, and attachment style as central to the therapeutic process.
