Colorado OCD & Anxiety Treatment Mission Statement

At Colorado OCD and Anxiety Treatment, we are committed to walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate the challenges of OCD, anxiety, and related conditions. Our mission is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that honors each person's unique journey. Through a warm, collaborative approach grounded in proven treatments like Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), we strive to create a safe space for healing, growth, and lasting change. We believe that with the right support, every person can find hope, strength, and a path forward.

Colorado OCD & Anxiety Treatment does not accept insurance directly, but we provide superbills for clients to submit to their insurance providers. We are also available to discuss what a successful Network Exception Request might look like.

Individual Therapy & Family Therapy
45 Minutes - $222
60 Minutes - $296

Individual therapy at Colorado OCD & Anxiety Treatment is personalized to meet you where you are and help you work toward meaningful, lasting change. Sessions are typically 45–50 minutes and provide a collaborative space to better understand your symptoms, develop practical skills, and actively work toward your treatment goals. Depending on your individual needs, treatment may incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), EMDR, and other specialized interventions.

Sessions are tailored to each client’s age, needs, goals, and pace. Therapy may include in-session practice, skill building, exposure exercises, mindfulness strategies, behavioral work, and goals to practice between appointments.

Initial Intake Session
60 Minutes - $296

Client Intake Session

The intake session is an opportunity for your therapist to get to know you, understand what you have been experiencing, and begin developing a treatment plan tailored to your needs. During this 60-minute appointment, your therapist will explore current concerns and symptoms, relevant history, how symptoms are impacting daily life, previous treatment experiences, and your goals for therapy. The goal of the intake is to develop a comprehensive understanding of your needs while beginning to build a comfortable and collaborative therapeutic relationship.

Parent/Caregiver Intake Session

For children and adolescents, we typically begin with a separate 60-minute parent/caregiver intake before the child or teen’s individual intake session. This gives parents and caregivers an opportunity to speak openly with the therapist about their concerns, provide relevant developmental and treatment history, and share what they are observing at home, at school, and in other areas of their child’s life.

Your therapist will ask about current symptoms, changes in functioning, family dynamics, previous treatment, and any ways the family may be responding to or accommodating anxiety or OCD. Parents and caregivers can also ask questions, discuss treatment goals, and learn more about what to expect from the treatment process.

Meeting separately allows the therapist to gather important background information while also giving the child or teen their own space during their individual intake. Because successful treatment for children and adolescents often involves the family, parent and caregiver involvement may continue throughout treatment when clinically appropriate.

Colorado OCD & Anxiety Treatment Cancellation Policy

Appointments are reserved specifically for you. We understand that scheduling conflicts or unexpected changes may arise. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask that you provide as much advance notice as possible—a minimum of 48 hours is required.

For Monday appointments, notice must be given by your scheduled appointment time on the preceding Friday, as weekends and holidays do not count as standard business hours when calculating cancellation notice.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be subject to the full session fee, regardless of the reason (e.g., forgetting the appointment, illness, or last-minute schedule changes).

We are committed to extending the same courtesy to our clients. If your therapist needs to cancel an appointment, they will make every effort to provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, and ideally more when possible.

Please understand that late cancellations or missed appointments impact both our ability to serve you and other clients in need of care. Because your session time is reserved exclusively for you, the full fee will be charged in the event of a late cancellation.
